HO(Go to Special Events for rose show results)  A DAY IN THE ROSE GARDEN JUNE 2, 2012 Saturday, June 2 – The Shasta Rose Society presents “A Day in the Rose Garden.” This event is FREE to the public and will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Davis garden – 23897 Old 44 Dr – Millville, CA. Join the Shasta Rose Society The Shasta Rose Society is a nonprofit educational organization, in Redding California, which is an affiliate of the "American Rose Society". The object of the society is to promote interest in all aspects of rose horticulture through various educational programs, shows, publicity and participation in rose-related projects. It teaches how to exhibit properly conditioned roses of the highest quality and aids the American Rose Society in evaluating rose varieties performance. The Society meets each month except for July, August and December. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at City of Redding Corporation Yard, 2055 Viking Way, Building 4, Room 401, Redding, California. The meetings are held for the purpose of presenting an educational program by an authority on roses and their cultivation. Meetings are open to the public.
